Privacy Policy
How MySkillTrack handles your information.
This policy explains the information MySkillTrack may collect, why it is used, how it is protected and the choices available to students, institutes and other users.
Last updated: 17 October 20261. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the MySkillTrack website, student accounts, institute accounts, platform-admin functions, test-series features, mock tests, leaderboards and related services. By using MySkillTrack, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use MySkillTrack, we may process information such as:
- name, email address, phone number and account credentials;
- institute association and membership status;
- test participation, attempt number, marks, accuracy, pass/fail status and completion timestamps;
- temporary answer text or comparison data required to calculate and display a result;
- session, device, browser, IP-address and security information used to protect accounts and enforce sign-in rules;
- notifications, support communications and account-management activity;
- payment and entitlement records when paid features are used.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and improve MySkillTrack, including to:
- create and secure student and institute accounts;
- deliver tests, calculate results and maintain attempt limits;
- show eligible leaderboards, results and institute-specific services;
- manage institute membership, access rights and platform entitlements;
- send account-verification, password-reset and service communications;
- prevent abuse, investigate errors and maintain platform security and reliability;
- meet legal, accounting and operational requirements.
MySkillTrack does not sell personal information to advertisers.
4. Assessment, result and leaderboard data
MySkillTrack processes typing and assessment activity to calculate marks, accuracy and other performance information. Some assessment flows use answer text only as needed to calculate and immediately display detailed analysis, while compact result information may be retained for history, attempt control and leaderboards.
Where leaderboards are offered, only information required for the ranking experience is displayed. MySkillTrack may apply rules such as ranking only the first completed attempt for a test and format.
5. Institute accounts and student membership
If you join a participating institute, the institute may be able to view information needed to deliver its own tests and student services, such as your name, assigned tests and relevant results. Leaving an institute does not automatically delete your independent MySkillTrack account or historical records that must be retained for legitimate operational purposes.
6. Cookies, sessions and security
MySkillTrack uses essential cookies and session technologies to keep users signed in, protect accounts, enforce device/session rules and maintain secure workflows. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Service providers
MySkillTrack relies on carefully selected technology providers to operate the service. Depending on the feature, these may include hosting, authentication/database, transactional-email and payment-processing providers. Providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.
Current infrastructure may include Hostinger for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database services, Zoho/ZeptoMail for transactional email, and Razorpay when payment functionality is enabled.
8. Payments
When paid MySkillTrack features are available, payment processing may be handled by Razorpay or another authorized payment provider. MySkillTrack may retain transaction references, amount, status and reconciliation information, but payment-card or bank credentials are processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly by MySkillTrack.
9. Retention and account deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect platform integrity, resolve disputes and meet legal, accounting or security obligations. When an account is permanently deleted, application records may be removed while payment or transaction records may be retained where required for financial reconciliation or legal compliance.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact us to ask about your account information, request correction of inaccurate details or request deletion where applicable. Certain records may need to be retained for security, legal, examination-integrity or accounting reasons.
11. Younger users
MySkillTrack is an education and assessment platform. Where a user is below the age at which they can independently consent to online services, use of the platform should take place with appropriate parent, guardian or institute involvement as required by applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when platform features, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
13. Contact us about privacy
